REVIEWS & RECOGNITION
Taking up residence just steps from the Googleplex, it’s no surprise that this wholesome little South Asian restaurant is absolutely packed with tech employees seeking a taste of their homelands. But local families love Zareen’s as well, perusing books from the lending library or doodling their heartfelt thanks on the wall. An added bonus: the space is set in a small shopping plaza with a big lot out front, making parking a non-issue. The chicken Memoni samosas, supposedly made from a recipe known to only a select number of grandmothers worldwide, are a must-order: crispy, well-spiced and flavorful, they’re so good they don’t need chutney. Follow these with the outstanding chicken shami kebabs, juicy and caramelized on their bed of fluffy basmati rice.
